Jen: East Side Music Together

Jennifer Romanat, Director/owner/registered teacher.

Jennifer received a BS in Human Sciences and Services at the University of Rhode Island and has been doing music all her life. She currently resides in Wakefield with her husband, Kory and their two children Fletcher (10) and Mitchell (8). Soon after she graduated she was a Social Worker and Parent Educator in South Kingstown, RI. She has also acted in and sang in various plays and musicals and performed in a cabaret restaurant in Charlestown, RI for several years. She loved the Music Together® experience with her own children so much, she decided to start one here in Providence and has been going strong for the past five years.

Lori Istok, Registered Teacher

Lori received a BA in Comparative Literature from Brown University, a Diploma in Vocal Performance from Mannes College of Music (NY, NY) and an MS in Early Childhood/Elementary Education from Bank Street College of Ed. (NY, NY). When Lori was living in Brooklyn, NY she taught preschool and elementary school. She was also a soloist for several churches in NY and she was a member of the Once Upon a Time Children's Theater Company in NY. She is currently a member of the Providence singers. Lori and her kids have been taking Music Together® since her daughter was four months old. Lori lives in Cranston with her husband and two children, Anika, age 6 and William, 4 years.
